Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know what size unit I need?

-Simply visit our What size do I need? page.

Can I rent space month-to-month or do I have to sign a long-term lease?

-Our rental contracts are month-to-month agreements – no long-term lease is required.  However, if you know you are going to be renting for an extended period be sure to ask about long-term lease incentives.

Do I need a reservation?

-A reservtion is not required, but it’s better if you have one. With a reservation (you will need to pay the first month rent, at the time of the resevation), you’ll be sure the unit you need is reserved for you, and it will save you time on move-in day.

What kind of documentation do I need to provide to rent a storage unit?

-You will need to provide a valid, government-issued form of identification (e.g., driver’s license, state ID or passport).

Do you require a deposit and if so, how much?

-No deposit is required. Just pay your first month's rent and move in!

Will I receive a monthly statement by mail?

-Yes, all tenants are mailed a statement 10 days before their due date unless you opt to have your payment automatically billed to your credit/debit card  or you choose to "Go green with us" and recieve your statement by e-mail. You can contact us to choose this option and provide us with your e-mail address.

What is a climate controlled unit?

-Climate controlled units are designed to maintain a set temperature range of approximately 55-80 degrees using A/C and heat.  In addition, humidity is maintained in a range to help preserve the integrity of your belongings.

Do you provide locks? Do you keep a key? Do you have a master key?

-We provide a new, sealed lock at time of rental. No one else has a key to that lock – just you. If you prefer to provide your own lock, you’re welcome to do so. If you choose to have deliveries sent directly to your storage space we are happy to keep a copy of your key in our office to allow for delivery directly to your storage unit.

We do not have a master key. You are the only one with access to your belongings in your unit.

When can I access my self storage unit?

-Gate access is available 7 days a week, 365 days a year, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

What’s the difference between access hours and office hours?

-During access hours, you can use your gate code to access your storage unit. During office hours, our staff is available to provide in-person customer service (like answering questions, selling supplies, accepting rental payment, etc).
